Vault: Greatest Hits 1980 1995

vault.jpg
Vault covers a decade and a half of hits by the one-time wonder boys of the new wave of British metal, but perhaps inevitably concentrates on singles from the multiplatinum Pyromania and Hysteria. It offers little meaning beyond fun fun fun, but there are hooks here that Noel Gallagher would punch a paparazzo for. Includes "Photograph," "Animal," "Pour Some Sugar On Me," "Bringin' on the Heartbreak," "Love Bites," "Hysteria," "Armageddon It," "Have You Ever Needed Someone So Bad," and more.

Songs From The Sparkle Lounge

Songs From The Sparkle Lounge
Contains 11 new songs including the highly anticipated single "Nine Lives" featuring a groundbreaking collaboration with country music superstar Tim McGraw. Other standout tracks on the album include "Go", "Love", and "Tomorrow." Written in the style of "Hysteria," with the production of "High 'n' Dry." Released in 2008.

Hysteria [Deluxe Edition]

Disc Two is jam-packed with rarities including four tracks recorded Live in Holland, one track recorded Live in Denver, remixes of 'Animal', 'Pour Some Sugar On Me', 'Armageddon It', 'Excitable' and 'Rocket', plus 'Release Me'.

perth.jpgDef Leppard's Oct. 31 show at Members Equity Stadium, Perth, Australia, is reviewed in the The Daily Telegraph for Nov. 1.

"Guitarist Phil Collon, who didn't take long to shed his shirt and prove that his lean frame has not suffered from years of rock n roll excess, was a standout. Although Rick Allen's drums were initially too high in the mix, the problem was soon smoothed out and the legendary one-armed drummer put on a dynamic performance."
